Mae Partneriaeth Ogwen wedi bod yn llwyddiannus gyda chais ar gyfer cefnogaeth ariannol fel rhan o gynllun Llewyrch o’r Llechi, Cyngor Gwynedd ar gyfer creu murlun ar Ganolfan Gymunedol Tregarth.

Fydd y murlun yn seiliedig ar themâu dreftadaeth (Safle Treftadaeth y Byd), gan bwysleisio ar hanes y hen orsaf a’r pentref, y rheilffordd, twnnel a threnau. Bwriad y prosiect yw dod a’r gymuned gyda’i gilydd i ddathlu treftadaeth leol. Bydd yn codi balchder ac yn addysgu’r genhedlaeth bresennol a’r dyfodol am hanes y pentref.

Fydd Partneriaeth Ogwen yn ymweld â’r ysgol gynradd leol i ofyn am syniadau’r disgyblion, a fydd cyfle i'r gymuned gyfan cael dweud ei sylwadau yn yr ymgyngoriad lleol sydd i'w gynnal yn y Ganolfan ar ddydd Iau, 3ydd o Hydref rhwng 16:00 - 18:00.

Partneriaeth Ogwen has been successful with an application for funding as part of the Gwynedd Council's ‘Llewyrch o’r Llechi’ scheme for the creation of a mural on Tregarth Community Centre.

The mural will be based on local heritage (World Heritage Site), emphasising the history of the old railway station and the village, the railway, tunnel and trains. The aim of the project is to bring the community together to celebrate local heritage. It will raise pride and educate the current and future generations about the history of the village.

Partneriaeth Ogwen will be visiting the local primary school to ask for the pupils' ideas, and will also hold a consultation evening at the Centre on Thursday, 3rd October between 16:00 - 18:00, to gain ideas and opinions of the local community.
